Kip tries to "get rich quick" through gambling - only to learn the hard way that the odds are stacked against him. Magic tricks and sleight-of-hand are used in this production to emphasize the illusory nature of getting ahead by winning money. With the news increasingly dominated by issues about problem gambling, this look at the ease in which we can all be trapped into the "easy money" dream inspires timely discussion with today's teens. Depression and tragedy can be the outcome of making choices based on chance and luck, and this play doesn't hold back in examining these issues.
