Green Thumb Theatre is NOT an Agent for this play.

Meet four ordinary kids coping with the ups and downs of their lives; Paige a popular yet insecure girl, Adam the tough bully who is also a budding artist, shy Josh who learns magic tricks in order to become invisible, and Charla the new girl who wants to be everybody's friend. This new production of a Green Thumb favourite helps students examine the influences youth get from pop culture (violence, body image, materialism) and how these affect the way they interact with schoolmates and their parents. It's about self esteem, fitting in, and "doing the right thing".  SeeSaw also examines the various types of bullying behavior - from the physical to the emotional. Using actors and an array of puppets, SeeSaw is a fast paced exploration of the shifting nature of relationships, the value and importance of friendships and focuses on the creative mind and imagination as a crucial part of learning and growing.

Feedback and Reviews

i thought that it was interesting when the big hand hopped out of the secret door. It was cool when the eagle popped out of the wall. I thought it was interesting when one the men made the magic wand came out of his shirt. I enjoyed it.

WE JUST GOT BACK FROM THE THEATRE AND WE SAW THE PLAY 'SEESAW'. WE REALLY LIKED IT. WE ALL HAD A GOOD TIME. MANY PARTS WERE FUNNY LIKE WHEN THE LITTLE BROTHER MADE SNOW FROM HIS SISTER'S LOVE NOTES. NIKOLAS LIKED THE PART WHEN PAIGE'S MOM PUT HER FACE ON. THE SOUND EFFECTS WERE REALLY GOOD TOO. WE LEARNED THAT WE SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID TO STAND UP TO BULLIES. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS STAND UP FOR YOURSELF AND FOR YOUR FRIEND'S ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE BEING BULLIED. THE ACTORS WERE ALL GREAT AND 'NITRO' WAS REALLY COOL. THANKS FOR A GREAT AFTERNOON AT THE THEATRE.

Dear Green Thumb Company,    Thank you for performing the play it was awesome. I liked the music and the hand.  I also liked the characters. I did n't like how you did the teacher. My favorite characters is Paige and Charla. I liked Paige because she had really nice close and I liked Charla because she was nice and she stood up against Adam. My favorite part was when Paige's little brother turned into a devil.

Sincerely, Tianna
