Green Thumb values the privacy of its stakeholders and participants. The following policy provides information on how Green Thumb Theatre collects, uses and safeguards the personal information provided to us.

At times Green Thumb Theatre may request personal information such as email address and postal address from staff and board members, artists and technicians, volunteers, individual donors and patrons who attend public performances. We may use this data for the purposes of sending information about upcoming performances or special events, to thank you for making a donation or request a renewal of your donation, to recruit volunteer assistance, or to invite you to a complimentary recognition event such as our Annual Supporters Gala. Any individual who does not wish to be contacted by mail, phone or email for any of the above purposes, please contact us and we will ensure that your request is honoured.

Only authorized Green Thumb personnel have access to the personal information we collect. Financial transactions (such as lottery tickets, tax receipts and payment information) are kept in secure storage for the minimum amount of time required through accounting principles and then are destroyed. Green Thumb does not sell or trade lists of patrons with any other companies or agencies. No personal information is collected by Green Thumb through our website.

Names of stakeholders are published as follows:

• Staff and board members are recognized in programs for productions, grant applications, website, Annual Report and in signage at the Annual Supporters Gala
• Artists and technicians are recognized in programs for productions, grant applications, Annual Report and in signage at the Annual Supporters Gala
• Volunteers are recognized in the Annual Report and in signage at theAnnual Supporters Gala
• Individual donors are recognized in the Annual Report and in signage at the Annual Supporters Gala unless they have specifically requested anonymity
• Patrons who attend public performances are not named in any public placeor publication

Any individual who does not wish his or her name to appear publicly, please contact us and we will ensure that your request is honoured.
