Back by popular demand, this piece is now available featuring either a male or female actor in the lead role.
What do you do when you have a great life – wonderful family, good marks, and awesome friends – but getting up and facing each day feels like a battle? Green Thumb’s award-winning hit show offers a realistic, honest, and bitingly funny look at the difference between ‘teen angst’ and mental illness. Reimagined for a digital format in the style of a confessional online video, STILL/FALLING is performed by a single actor portraying Nina or Nick as they find themselves slipping into a dark reality they cannot understand, and as they search for a light to lead them out of the dark. In the wake of a pandemic and rising levels of depression and anxiety in young people, STILL/FALLING is a timely and important conversation starter.
Every show is performed live and is followed by a Q&A period. When you book a performance of STILL/FALLING, you also receive our comprehensive study guide, with pre and post show activities, questions, and resources for further support.

UPDATE: We’re incredibly proud of the artistic work that has gone into our livestream of Still/Falling. We are equally proud of the rigorous safety protocols we have put in place to keep all artists, staff and contractors safe while working on this show. We are called upon right now to exercise the most extreme of those protocols. Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to put all in-person operations on hold while a Covid exposure among our ranks is investigated by public health. As such, all remaining streams of Still/Falling will be a recording of our afternoon performance from May 3, 2021. Unfortunately this means the live Q&A portion of this piece is no longer available, though each show is still followed by a facilitated discussion with our partners from Anxiety Canada. We apologize for the inconvenience.
