SUPPORTER SPOTLIGHT | RBC Foundation

Green Thumb Theatre is privileged to work with many artists in the early stages of their career journeys. As we get ready for our next tours of WHAT IF and THE CODE, we are grateful for the ongoing support of RBC Foundation's Emerging Artist Project.

Here is what Erwin Kong, RBC Community Manager, Vancouver East, had to say about the project, and supporting Green Thumb Theatre:

Supporting the arts is a long-standing priority of RBC®.  We recognize the struggle many artists go through to gain the recognition they need to become successful in their practice. The RBC Emerging Artists Project helps artists bridge the gap from emerging to established, and supports organizations that provide the best opportunities to advance artists’ careers.
At RBC, our purpose as an organization is to help our clients thrive, and communities prosper.  This is why we invest in the places where we live and work.  Organizations like Green Thumb Theatre encourage a culture of creativity and innovation, and helps foster diversity and inclusion in our communities. Not only do they provide opportunities for emerging artists, the plays that they produce also tackle social and contemporary issues that face our communities today.
The RBC Emerging Artists Project helps artists bridge the gap from emerging to established, and supports organizations that provide the best opportunity to advance their career trajectory. We support arts organizations and artists in a range of genres including visual art, music, theatre, performance, literature and film.

Thank you RBC Foundation for your continued support of emerging artists in our community!
